Donating through shopping
Three ways to donate to the school this Christmas that won’t cost you a penny extra.
We know how hard it is to keep shelling out money to support your child’s school and the other groups and clubs they attend. That’s why we’re delighted to be able to highlight some ways that you can support the school without spending any more money. Did you know that lots of your favourite companies will make a donation to the school when you buy online with them this Christmas?
- Easy Fundraising
Hundreds of our favourite retailers will donate to the school if we simply access their websites via the EasyFundraising portal. Next, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Amazon, Argos, The Book People and Thomas Cook etc. will all give money to the school for every pound you spend with them this Christmas.
Simply visit www.easyfundraising.org.uk and click on “I want to support a good cause” then enter Bonnyrigg Primary Parents Association in the box and click “support this cause”. Fill in your name and email address and create your password.
The next time you’re buying something online, login to easyfundraising then access the retailer’s site as normal from there.
- For Books – Buy online with Scholastic
If you’re buying books, please also take a look at the Scholastic website. When you checkout, you can choose to have them pay commission to Bonnyrigg Primary School for your order. This allows the school to buy extra books etc. for the children to use.
- Buying a Microscooter – Buy online and quote our reference number
If a Microscooter is top of the Santa list this Christmas please consider buying it and any accessories online at www.micro-scooters.co.uk. If you enter Bonnyrigg Primary’s unique code 5542022 at the checkout, the school will receive 10% of the total amount spent.
We hope you’ll consider these options when you’re doing your Christmas shopping this year. It could make a really big difference to the school.
Thanks for your support
