Midlothian Scottish Water – Poster Campaign
Health Week will be running from 15th – 19th May.
During Health Week, children are encouraged to come to school dressed for physical activity. They should be prepared for being outside for several activities and may wish to bring a change of clothes in case they get a bit wet. They will not, however, go out in heavy rain. If the weather is particularly warm and sunny, please ensure that your child is wearing sun cream. It would also be helpful if children brought a bottle of water to school each day.
There will be no Home Learning during Health Week.
On Wednesday 17th May, catering staff are planning a special ‘Grab and Go’ lunch where children will be offered a choice of rolls, fruits and yogurts to take outside for a picnic.
On Friday 19th May we will hold a community walk for P1-7.
As part of health week the JRSOs are encouraging everyone to take part in National Walk to School Week. This time the JRSOs have decided to have a daily walking theme:
- Monday: Walk to school wearing a hat
- Tuesday: Happy SHOESDAY! Walk to school wearing your favourite shoes.
- Wednesday: Walk to school with crazy hair.
- Thursday: Walk to school wearing odd socks.
- Friday: Walk to school wearing sunglasses.
Each class will be keeping a wall chart record to see how many of the pupils at Bonnyrigg walk to school during Walk to School Week.
